Over the last few years, the ever-popular holiday destination Strandhotel Duhnen has also developed into a modern employer brand. An important part of this, the Kamp-Hotels-Intranet, serves as a digital communication platform, which contributes to faster and better internal communication as well as to the streamlining of work processes. In the Kamp Hotels Academy, which has been established since 2015, not only our trainees but also our specialists and managers receive structured trainings at an extended technical and general educational level.
At over 30 partner companies in the retail, leisure, sports and lifestyle sectors, all employees receive exclusive discounts by presenting their MemberCard or AzubiCard. The “Employee of the Month” chosen by the colleagues receives a cinema voucher, the “Employee of the Year” even a holiday package including pocket money. True to the motto “Sport keeps you young and increases your mental fitness”, all employees can benefit from special conditions in the nearby fitness studio and even take advantage of the free in-house courses (Yoga, Body Complete & Aqua-Fitness). In addition, low-cost vehicles (MINI) are available on request, which make Strandhotel Duhnen an eye-catcher on Cuxhaven’s streets and beyond.
In addition, the “my points” digital reward system can be used to collect a lot of points according to cleverly developed parameters, e.g. for suggesting operational improvements or through active participation in training courses. The “Kamp Hotels Index” shows the current, collaboratively developed point value online and thus also the own extra reward. We have also been a very innovative and successful training company for decades. We are currently training up to 27 young people over three years in three professions (cook, restaurant and hotel professional) in the very effective dual system. School or orientation internships are possible at any time on request!
