A technically- and behaviour-optimized energy management system with, for example, block-type thermal power stations and heat recovery systems ensures that a significant amount of heat, water and electricity is saved in all hotel areas.
As a national park partner of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve “Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer”, we feel connected and committed to the unique natural landscape. The gold medal of the “DEHOGA Environmental Check” also confirms the sustainable and environmentally conscious behaviour in our company. Within the initiative “Green Travels” we are introduced to interested guests as hosts with a “green thumb”.
By providing an e-filling station and as an official Tesla Charging Partner, our hotel as well as restaurant guests can recharge their e-cars free of charge during their stay.
For our hotel guests we occasionally do “nothing”. Our “Green Option” refers to the possibility of not having the hotel room cleaned by hanging the additional olive green card at the room door if it is not needed.
In all these years we are pleased to observe that many of our guests are also in the “environmental dialogue” with us. Some people give us helpful tipps, others take an idea back home with them. And so we come together and…
